This is a really cool late slate of college football games to choose from. I suggest holding a portion of your bankroll to get involved in this because I think there should be some interesting lineups. Can you dig deeper than this at QB during the late slate?? Yes you can. Do I think you need to? Not really. This group of QB’s all have good matchups and have the ability to get you 40 fantasy points. If you’re a 1 lineup type person, you might have a tough time settling on 1 QB.
Iowa St @ Oklahoma (-24.5) 61 o/u
Michigan St (-4.5) @ Nebraska 57 o/u
Navy @ Memphis (-8) 65.5 o/u
Auburn @ Texas A&M (-7) 60 o/u
USF @ ECU (-4) 54 o/u
Utah @ Washington (-2) 43.5 o/u
Kansas @ Texas (-28) 53 o/u
LSU @ Alabama (-7) 45 o/u
Minnesota @ Ohio State (-23) 53.5 o/u
Arizona @ USC (-19.5) 67 o/u
Cal @ Oregon (-3.5) 76 o/u
You have to love Goff in this spot vs one of the worst passing defenses ++ he’s likely going to be coming from behind if Oregon plays well. He also might be lower owned than normal because he’s been somewhat of a dud recently. That makes him risky, but the odds say he’s in line for a breakout game.
Vernon Adams – Oregon
Good matchup against a somewhat poor pass defense and a team that can keep up with Oregon. I think at these levels Adams can be utilized in tournaments and cash – but not across the board because he has bust ability.
Kyler Murray – Texas A&M
Very favorable matchup against an Auburn team that struggles on defense.
Connor Cook – Michigan State
Great value on DK this week. This is a great matchup against one of the worst pass defenses Michigan State will face all season.
Baker Mayfield – Oklahoma
I like this matchup against Iowa State who’s given up 19 passing Tds vs only 4 INTs. It makes sense that Oklahoma will go to the air today vs Iowa St, but there’s a reason I don’t coach football so we’ll see. Mayfield makes an above average tournament play and a risky cash game play because he’s not super consistent, but has 3+ TD upside.
Keenan Reynolds – Navy
This isn’t as good of a matchup as it may seem since Memphis is good at stopping the run but suck at stopping the pass. Reynolds rarely throws, but is very consistent on the ground. I guess you can assume he might have more passing upside in this game than normal, but we’ll see.
Quinton Flowers – USF
In the 2 QB set on DK, you’ll likely need a cheap Qb. If Flowers was healthy, I’d say roll with him 100% but he’s banged up a bit. This is a good matchup against a poor run/pass defense which should help Flowers get you 20+ fantasy points.
