Daily College Fantasy Football QB Picks – Week 12 (Early Saturday)

Interesting slate of College Football games to pick from during the early matchups. Honestly there’s not really a QB that jumps off the board as a must-play so it’s going to be a challenging slate from top to bottom. I think depending on how you decide to spend the rest of your salary cap – you could go a number of different ways. Draftkings should be particularly interesting this week with the 2 QB lineups. I’ll likely be a tournament player this weekend since the obvious cash-game QBs just aren’t there this week.

Indiana @ Maryland (-2.5) 64 o/u (DK)
Georgia Tech (-2.5) @ Miami 55.5 o/u (DK)
Western Kentucky (-16.5) @ Florida Intl 65.5 o/u (DK)
West Virginia (-28) @ Kansas 59.5 o/u (FD)
Duke @ Virginia (-2) 53.5 o/u (FD)
Memphis @ Temple PK 58.5 o/u
Michigan (-3.5) @ Penn State 41.5 o/u
Purdue @ Iowa (-23) 57 o/u
UNC (-5.5) @ Virginia Tech 61.5 o/u
Arizona @ Arizona St (-6) No Total
Houston @ Connecticut NO LINES
LSU @ Mississippi (-6.5) 56 o/u
Michigan State @ Ohio State (-13.5) 53 o/u
Northwestern @ Wisconsin (-10) 40 o/u
UCLA @ Utah (-1.5) 55 o/u
USC @ Oregon (-4) 71.5 o/u
Wake Forest @ Clemson (-29) 48 o/u

Brandon Doughty – WKU
$8,800 Draftkings
Probably just a cash game QB for me this week since I think his upside is priced in pretty good considering the matchup.

DeShaun Watson – Clemson
$8,700 Draftkings
I don’t think you really need to spend $10,100 on a QB on Fanduel … mainly because for him to reach value he’d have to have a spectacular game against a team that doesn’t have the offensive firepower to keep up with Clemson – who in all likely hood are going to be preparing players for a postseason run.

Vernon Adams – Oregon
$7,900 Draftkings
$7,700 Fanduel
Might mitigate USC’s pass defense with his mobility. Throw out last weeks game against a tough Stanford team – that was expected. At these prices, he could deliver value with only a slightly above average performance.

Marquise Williams – UNC
$8,400 Draftkings
$9,700 Fanduel
He’s been on cruise control the last few weeks against teams that aren’t cupcakes. VTech is strong against the pass, but can give up yards against the run. I consider Williams a tournament option across all sites this weekend.

Josh Rosen – UCLA
$6,800 Draftkings
$8,000 Fanduel
Only had 1 TD last week but achieved 31 fantasy points on DK. Sneaky #2 QB play against Utah on DK. His price on FD makes him less viable.

Anu Solomon – Arizona
$6,200 Draftkings
$7,200 Fanduel
Has tournament appeal based on the matchup & the fact he’s questionable with a concussion – so his ownership will be lower than typical.

Alex McGough – FIU
$5,400 Draftkings
Good matchup against a team that has given up 253 yards per game this season. I like home underdog QBs/WRs. Given McGough’s inconsistency he’s a tournament option, but a good one on DK considering his salary and potential upside.

P.J. Walker – Temple
$6,300 Draftkings
Another QB with tournament appeal because of the matchup. Memphis has been involved in shootouts most of the season. I think his price ($8,000) on Fanduel prices in most of the upside already.

Mike Bercovici – Arizona St
$7,100 Draftkings
$7,500 Fanduel
There’s going to be a group of grinders who will be high on Bercovici in this matchup. I can certainly see the upside, but as you can see with the game logs – he’s wildly inconsistent. I personally think a safer way to capture Bercovici’s upside is by starting the WRs/RBs on this team.

Nate Sudfeld – Indiana
$5,100 Draftkings
Has played some really good defenses recently and hasn’t been playable. Not a lock to have a good game, but at these prices – this is a QB with 4+ TD upside going up against a defense which only has 8 INTs all season (but do have 34 sacks).

Skyler Howard – West Virginia
$6,900 Fanduel
Has sneaky tournament appeal going against one of the worst passing defenses in the country.

C.J. Beathard – Iowa
$5,800 Draftkings
$6,600 Fanduel
I’d like him in this matchup, but you should read this before starting him.
