Already in week 8 of the daily college fantasy football season and this is one of the better weeks for QB’s I think. There’s some great matchups and you can roll with any number of guys. Below are the guys with really good matchups and are capable of putting up good numbers too. It’s a short list, but I don’t think you need to make things complicated with the matchups these QB’s provide.
Week 8 – RB Picks
Cincinnati – GUNNER KIEL
Looks like he’s healthy, but do a status check before gametime. This is a great matchup and he’s been playing well.
UCLA – BRETT HUNDLEY
He’s been stinking it up a bit, but he plays Cal – who’s the worst passing defense in the country and lost 2 players to injury … leaving the team to convert WR’s into defensive backs. If Hundley doesn’t play well this week – you can ignore him the rest of the season, but in my opinion he’s a LOCK.
Michigan State – CONNOR COOK
Great matchup against Indiana who’s struggled against the pass this season.
Oregon – MARCUS MARIOTA
Pretty much a one-man-band and he’s been getting the job done. Faces a UW team that’s not very strong against the pass.
Kansas State – JAKE WATERS
Faces Oklahoma who’s given up 10 passing TD’s through 6 games and 275.7 yards per game.
TCU – TREVONE BOYKIN
Is listed as probable on a sheet I have, so just double-check but he should be good to roll. He’s facing a OKST team who’s not very good against the pass and Boykin has been solid in just abot every game this season.
Ohio State – J.T. BARRETT
Rutgers pass defense is a little better than last year, but still isn’t any match for Ohio State. Barrett has been playing great and might be a little undervalued on the sites this week.
Baylor – BRYCE PETTY
Lit up a really good TCU defense late in the game. West Virginia should be an easier test. Only real issue is he’s super expensive.
Texas Tech – DAVIS WEBB
Is listed as probable, so just do a status check. Is playable just about every week because they love to throw.
Colorado – SEFO LIUFAU
He’s playable against USC in what should be a good game.
SMU – GARRETT KRSTICH
Sleeper pick here, and a risky one. But they do face off against Cincinnati, who’s one of the worst passing defenses and Garrett threw 67 times in week 6.
Western Michigan – ZACH TERRELL
I’m not really sure about this guy, but he faces Bowling Green – who’s been lit up by everyone this season. The game is live on FanDuel.
