Maybe I’m crazy but I found a bunch of RBs that I just want to fade this week. Sure, they might end up with some nice days, but the way the pricing is now – they’d have to have the best game of the year against a tough defense in order to create much value. That might get it done in cash games because there’s lots of bad lineups, but in tournaments you’ll need to value hunt the best you can. I think I’ve isolated a handful of backs that I think can deliver consistency – and value if the matchups go as planned.
Duke @ UNC (-7.5) 58 o/u
Notre Dame (-8.5) @ Pittsburgh 53.5 o/u

Demario Richard – Arizona State
Tought to keep him out of the lineups at these prices and this kind of matchup.
Christian McCaffrey – Stanford
I’d consider him an average cash game play at these prices because I think he has a low floor, but would need to really get busy to provide much value. I would guess Stanford will look to run against Colorado who’s given up 5.1 yards per carry this season.
Jalen Hurd – Tennessee
I like this matchup and I this he’s got a great shot at getting you 20 fantasy points. On the season SC has given up 5.4 yards per carry and 215 yards per game.
Wendell Smallwood – West Virginia
Needs to score you a TD (or two) at these prices, but he’s got decent odds to have a good game. On the season Texas Tech has given up 5.9 yards per carry and 29 TDs to running backs!!
Paul Perkins – UCLA
Tournament viable almost weekly. This is a good matchup, you just hope he gets in done in about 15 touches.
Kenneth Farrow – Houston
Probably only a tournament play on DK for my tastes, but he does have upside potential in this game.
Shaquille Powell – Jela Duncan – Duke
I think Duke’s gameplan will be to run on UNC who has a good pass defense but a poor run defense. Both these guys have limited upside but sometimes you need minimum price guy that could meet value with just an average game.
