Wow! I knew we’d have to find value at one position this weekend after only deciding to roll with top-end QB’s … and the RB position is filled with good value. There’s a few guys who’ve never had a game on a DFS slate of games, so they aren’t valued very high and likely will have some lower than average usage rates. I think you can fade a few of the top RB’s but you’ll want to sprinkle in some of them.
Matthew Dayes – NC State
It’s been ALL DAYES for him this season. He’s averaging 35 fantasy points per game on Draftkings!! Except this is the first week you’ve had a chance to draft him, so he might have some upside just based on low usage. Louisville is solid, but not a brick wall so I’d expect Dayes to get chances in this one.
Aaron Green – TCU
Good matchup, good player. If you fade him just hope he doesn’t have another huge week.
Kenneth Farrow – Houston
If you’re making lineup selections based strictly on matchup, Farrow would be in all your lineups on Saturday. Tulsa has givenup up 5.2 yards per carry and 270 yards per game on the ground this season to RB’s.
Ezekiel Elliott – Ohio State
His salary dropped quite a bit on DK to a point where I like him again this week against Indiana.
Shock Linwood – Baylor
Boom or bust style player because he’s not really involved in the passing game. However, this is a great matchup against a weak Texas Tech team that has been gashed for 5.6 yards per carry this season.
Mike Warren – Iowa State
$4,400 Draftkings (good value)
Nice gambling play at a low price. Faces off against Kansas which has been ripped up on the ground this season.
Dalvin Cook – Florida State
Got bottled up by Boston College last time he played, but that was as expected. That bad memory might keep people away, but I like this matchup against Wake Forest and I think Cook gets back on track. I’m going to look to use Cook in spots where I want a #1 type RB but that will likely have lower usage rates than what would be normal.
Daniel Lasco – Cal
You need to double check make sure he’s in, but he’s a risky play that has some nice upside given the matchup against a weak Washington State defense.
DeAndre Washington – Texas Tech
$5,500 Draftkings (good value)
I think if you want a fairly cheap way to get exposure to this game, Washington is not a bad play on Draftkings where he’s below average salary. You need Texas Tech to hang in the game, but he’s got a pretty high upside if he gets rolling.
Ke’Aun Kinner – Kansas
Shot in the dark, but he’s got an above average matchup.
Madre London – L.J. Scott – Michigan State
Both are below minimum price on Draftkings. London should get most of the carries. I like this matchup against Purdue but I wouldn’t use either in a ton of lineups – just when it makes sense.
Terence Williams – Baylor
I’d probably only play him on Fanduel because you’re getting some value at only $4,900 even if he doesn’t do too much. Very risky play but has upside especially if Baylor goes up big.
Patrick Skov – Georgia Tech
Below average on FD makes him a better value there. Plus he rarely is involved in the passing game, so I’d rather him over on that site. Still a lower-end play but this is a good matchup against a weaker UNC run defense.
