I think it’s going to be wise to pay up for RB in the late slate because Cook, Fournette, McNichols, Elliott and Booker are all capable of deliver good games. I think saving money at WR will be the play this week – especially in cash games.
Florida State (-6) @ Georgia Tech 54 o/u
Texas A&M @ Mississippi (-6) 65 o/u
Western Kentucky @ LSU (-16) 65.5 o/u
Kentucky @ Mississippi St (-12) 59.5 o/u
Utah @ USC (-6.5) 58 o/u
Ohio State (-21) @ Rutgers 63 o/u
Wyoming @ Boise State (-35) 58 o/u
Colorado @ Oregon State PK 59.5 o/u
Washington @ Stanford (-16.5) 48 o/u
Leonard Fournette – LSU
If you can squeeze his salary into a lineup you like I say go for it.
Dalvin Cook – FSU
I think at this point I’m going to treat Cook similar to Fournette that the matchup doesn’t matter too much. This one is a good one though with GTech giving up 4.9 yards per carry and 178 yards per game. Just hope that hammy holds up all game.
Jeremy McNichols – Boise State
I love this spot since he’s coming back from injury people may have forgotten about him. Wyoming has given up 5.3 yards per carry! 18 TDs!! And 213 yards per game!!!
Devontae Booker – Utah
Has almost a boring consistency to his game. This isn’t an easy matchup, but he rates to get 25+ touches so it doesn’t matter too much. His salary on FD is on the edge of being too much – plus I’d rather have Cook, so I likely won’t play him much on that site.
Ezekiel Elliott – Ohio State
It’s safe to assume OSU is going to a run-first approach with Barrett at QB. I’m neutral on how that will effect Elliott’s production.
Phillip Lindsay – Colorado
If you need a cash-game RB that can deliver 3x salary I think Lindsay has a good shot. On the season Oregon State has given up 5.2 yards per carry and 198 yards per game.
