Daily College Fantasy Football WR/TE Picks – Bowl Week (Saturday 12/19)

If you didn’t already see – Yahoo posted College Football DFS games! I’ll be posting H2H games this weekend if you want to challenge me. My name is Sports Card Radio.

Arizona (-9) @ New Mexico 65 o/u
BYU @ Utah (-2.5) 54 o/u
Ohio @ App State (-7.5) 54.5 o/u
San Jose St (-2.5) @ Georgia State 56 o/u
Arkansas State (-2) @ Louisiana Tech 67.5 o/u

TONS of WRs. Honestly there are no guarantees at these spots, but I think there’s some good value – so that makes creating a roster not all that difficult. I’d try to nail down how you think the games are going to play out – and select the WRs you think are best. Also, it all depends on your QB, since stacking these guys is almost the only play since none are really exciting just on their own.

Penny Hart – Georgia State
$5,900 Draftkings
$6,800 Fanduel
$31 Yahoo
Not super expensive, but enough to make you think just a little. He should be locked & loaded in your Arbuckle lineups.

Trent Taylor – LaTech
$6,500 Fanduel
I’m playing all 3 sites on Saturday, so my exposure will be on Fanduel where he’s just a shade over min salary. On DK/Yahoo he’s the highest priced guy … so tough for me to really want to roster him in those spots.

Mitch Mathews – BYU
$5,400 Draftkings
$6,600 Fanduel
$27 Yahoo
You’re pairing him with Mangum because he’s the main target.

Keith Rucker – Georgia State
$5,400 Fanduel (#1 TE)
$3,600 Draftkings (WR)
$21 Yahoo (#1 TE)
Maybe if you have room for him on FD/Yahoo you play him at TE, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. On Draftkings – he makes a very nice punt play at WR for only $3,600 with upside into the 20’s. Note: As I’m filling out lineups this morning, you’re either landing on Freeman or Rucker on Yahoo/FD so feel free to roster them all day on those sites. I might fade on DK just because I have such massive exposure to the two, but that’s up to your own choice.

Cayleb Jones – Arizona
$4,300 Draftkings
$5,200 Fanduel
$19 Yahoo
Is a reasonably priced tournament WR with upside into the 20’s.

Tres Houston – Arkansas St
$3,900 Draftkings
$25 Yahoo
Love his price on Draftkings.

Carlos Henderson – LaTech
$4,500 Draftkings
$24 Yahoo
Has some appeal across the board.

Jordan Reid – Ohio
$4,800 Fanduel
$4,600 Draftkings
$20 Yahoo
Sebastian Smith – Ohio
$5,400 Fanduel
$4,800 Draftkings
I can totally buy into the narrative that Ohio will be in throw mode late in this game. Neither are elite options as Ohio plans on using both QBs … which should limit their upside in the red-zone. However, both are capable of paying off salary regardless.

Robert Davis – Georgia State
$5,000 Fanduel
I think you just figure out a way to pay a bit more for Hart on DK and Yahoo … but on Fanduel the price difference is enough that I think you could use Davis in cash if you really needed to. He has a limited upside, but seems to get the board each week.

Nate Phillips – Arizona
$3,500 Draftkings
There’s other guys, like Johnny Jackson, Samajie Grant, who I don’t mind because they are cheap too – however I think Phillips being the cheapest could have some upside if he gets a TD.

Kenneth Scott – Utah
$4,200 Draftkings
$4,600 Fanduel
$17 Yahoo
Has some tournament appeal because he’s listed as “out” on most of the sites, but appears as the #1 WR on the teams’ bowl game depth chart … which is somewhat thin at WR.

DiJon Paschal – Arkansas State
$3,300 Draftkings
$5,000 Fanduel
$17 Yahoo
Has some real deep tournament appeal … and is likely viable on Yahoo considerding the tight salaries at WR.

Billy Freeman (TE), Tim Crawley, Hansell Wilson … ect
There’s some value here – I just don’t have a grasp on who’s going to get the touches. If you multi-enter GPPs, you’ll likely want some exposure in your Potter lineups. On Yahoo – you’ll want to closely examine these guys as they are one of the few value spots at WR on that site. Note: As I’m filling out lineups this morning, you’re either landing on Freeman or Rucker on Yahoo/FD so feel free to roster them all day on those sites. I might fade on DK just because I have such massive exposure to the two, but that’s up to your own choice.
