Here are the WR plays for Week 4 of the college football daily fantasy season which kicks off tomorrow 9/24 and continues on Friday 9/25. Honestly, it’s ALL ABOARD THE VALUE TRAIN CHOO CHOO!!!! There are TONS of value plays at WR this week that I think you’ll have no problem filling out your lineups. You can even go a bit deeper than this if you wish, I mainly stuck to the guys that I believe will have positive production this week. For some of these guys, you’ll want to monitor the starting QB situation (Cincinnati) as that might effect their rankings. But either way, you shouldn’t have a problem filling out your WR position this week, which is nice.
Thurs/Fri Daily CFB – QB Picks
Thurs/Fri Daily CFB – RB Picks
Here are the games we are selecting from for reference:
Cincinnati at Memphis (-10.5) 64 o/u
Boise State (-2.5) @ Virginia 50 o/u
Stanford (-15.5) @ Oregon State ????
Sam Craft – Memphis
$5,700 DraftKings (WR)
$6,200 FanDuel (RB)
Listed as a WR on DK and a Running back on FD. I think you’re getting lots of value from him on DK since he’s just above average salary and he’s been averaging just over 10 carries per game in the backfield.
Mose Frazier – Memphis
He’s been very steady the first 3 games making him the #1 WR on both sites. I really like this matchup, you just hope he can find the end zone so he can provide upside value.
Canaan Severin – Virginia
He’s not really very expensive so he could be utilized in lots of spots.
Shaq Washington – Cincinnati
Not super expensive on either site, and if Gunner Kiel is able to play … he’d be a choice I’d use in some lineups because he’s fairly consistent and can provide upside at these values if he scores a TD. If Kiel were not to play, I’d likely fade Washington.
Thomas Sperbeck – Boise State
$6,000 Fan Duel
I like his value better on FD this week as a below avg salary WR. Finally broke through last week and had a good game with 7 catches for 99 yards. Has yet to find the end zone. The problem with Boise State WRs this week (and going forward) is that they will have 2 QBs throwing them the ball with the starter now hurt. It’s hard to say how that will impact Sperbeck …. in fact it may be a benefit. Either way, Sperbeck at these prices will need a similar game to last week or better to really provide much upside, but he’s worth a shot in a few lineups given the limited amount of WRs to choose from.
Shane Williams-Rhodes – Boise State
A player with 2 TD upside but has 0 on the year through three games. Has only 1 game where he really provided any value. His consistency makes him a risky play in cash games, but dissapointing results in previous games might keep usage rates down to make him attractive in GPP formats.
Chris Moore – Cincinnati
A better value on DK this week, but not crazy priced on FD. I like Moore only if Kiel doesn’t play, and considering his volitility, I’d lean towards Moore in GPP lineups.
Victor Bolden – Oregon State
Looks like the coaches are trying to get him about 5 rushing attempts each game, which boost his value just a little bit since that gets him into the 7-8 touches per game range. He hasn’t done much all year which makes him a risky play, plus Stanford isn’t the easist pass defense.
