Daily NBA Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Picks – December 23

BIG night of NBA action. There’s plenty of injuries to big-name guys and if Kobe is ruled out – that opens the door for LA Lakers. Also, D-Wade is one to monitor – because if he’s out … the Heat are missing its top 2 scorers.

G – NICK YOUNG
If Kobe is out, the Lakers will be in serious need of points and Swaggy-P is good for a few buckets. If you play in leagues where lineups lock – I think you could gamble on some Lakers because I’d be surprised if Kobe played considering they play the Warriors – and Kobe will likely want to play on Christmas …. so resting tonight makes sense.

G – REGGIE JACKSON
He’s kind of a no-brainer with KD out … but his salary is still below average in some spots – and I think he provides really good upside if that’s the case.

G – MARIO CHALMERS
On some sites, his salary hasn’t gone up too much. If D-Wade is ruled out – he and other Heat players can be solid plays considering Bosh is out too. Plus they play the 76ers (who actually aren’t that bad) … but Miami likely won’t get blown out even if Bosh & Wade are out.

F – SHABAZZ MUHAMMAD
I picked this guy up in my season long leagues …. he’s playing very hard. Basically he’s playing like a guy that wants to get paid – and I like that. If he keeps this up, his salary will go up. I still wouldn’t pay over avg for him … but anything below and you’re getting some upside.

C – KYLE O’QUINN
Looks like he’s starting now, and he was solid when Vucevic was out. I wouldn’t pay too much for him, so if he’s around average salary – I don’t think he provides much upside there … but if he’s well under average salary – that’s a good deal.

C – MEYERS LEONARD
If Aldridge is out again, looks like he’s getting the start. Looks like Batum is out for sure – so getting some confirmation on who’s going to replace him could open up some doors as well.
