Daily NBA Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Picks – December 9

Oh my Gay …. errr … I mean God … or Gosh.

If you were glued to Sunday night football and then bedtime like many people, you might have missed that Rudy Gay was traded to the Sacramento Kings last night for John Salmons, Grevis Vasquez, Chuck Hayes, and Patrick Patterson.

The team is also looking to trade Jason Thompson.

That basically leaves Isaiah Thomas, DeMarcus Cousins, Ben McLemore, Derrick Williams, Marcus Thornton, and Jimmer Fredette.

Even if you include Thompson, that only about 7 active players.

I’m assuming that Rudy Gay does not play tonight, so you have options with the Kings.

G – Jamal Crawford at Philly
OK, so the 76ers games tend to be high scoring and the Clippers are capable of blowing them out, so it could lead more time for Crawford to get a few points in garbage time. He’s been playing well since J.J. Redick went down.

G – Jerryd Bayless vs Orlando
So he was 0-11 last game and 2-6 shooting the game before. That makes him 2-17 … usually NBA players can bounce back, and if Tony Allen misses another game tonight, this is a sleeper pick because he hasn’t been playing well – but could bounce back against a team that played last night.

F – Hollis Thompson vs LA Clippers
Has been filling in for Michael Carter-Williams and is still pretty cheap.

F – Anthony Tolliver vs Golden State
Total shot in the dark here, he could see more time with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist already out and Jeffery Taylor possibly being out tonight. You’ll want to confirm that Anthony is starting before you insert him into your lineup though.
