Daily NBA Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Picks – January 16

HUGE night of NBA action tonight and I’ve got a ton of sleepers for you already. I’ve included some very risky plays – so make sure you only use them in a star/scrub situation. There’s some key injuries to Anthony Davis and D-Wade that you’ll want to monitor over the course of the day as well. Should be a great night!

G – BENO UDRIH
Only play him if you get confirmation Mike Conley is out, if so he’s a nice min price start tonight.

G – NATE WOLTERS
Very risky, but a true definition of a sleeper if Jrue Holiday is confirmed out, he could be a min price PG. Update: Looks like Evans will start at PG. Eric Gordon is a hot/cold player but could see a boost and he’s not too overpriced.

G – QUINCY PONDEXTER
He’s fresh on the team, and if Anthony Davis is out + Holiday …. there could be shots to go around.

F – TAJ GIBSON
Whenever Joakim Noah is out, Gibson usually steps up. He’s a solid option tonight against Boston.

F – DERRICK WILLIAMS
Looks like Rudy Gay is likely out, and Derrick Williams stepped up last game. He should be a solid option against Miami at home.

F – RYAN ANDERSON
If Anthony Davis is out, he has solid upside tonight. If you play in leagues that lock lineups before you get confirmation about Davis – he’s not a horrible play anyway.

F – TONY SNELL
Very low-end sleeper here, and I’d only risk playing him if he was min-priced and starting.

F – CHASE BUDINGER
Very risky play here, but again – not a total punt min-priced guy considering it looks like he’s starting & they play the Suns tonight.

C – HASSAN WHITESIDE
Faces off against the team that drafted him …. that should be interesting considering what he said about the Clippers for not even inviting him for a workout. If D-Wade is out again, he’s performing at a high level with limited minuets. Just don’t overpay.
