Plenty of games on the docket for November 1st. You might be able to take advantage of daily fantasy sites not updating their prices after the first couple games of the NBA season. Let’s take a look at some cheaper options for Nov. 1st NBA action.
Point Guard/Shooting Guard
Isaiah Thomas – L.A. Clippers @ Sacramento
$3,900 on Draft Kings is a cheap option at PG. He comes of the bench for the Kings, but can light it up with his outside shooting and drives to the hoop. Can sometimes get punked by bigger guards, but he should be okay vs. the Clippers who had to play the night before vs. Golden State. Look for Thomas to provide energy with upside to big fantasy points.
Avery Bradley – Milwaukee at Boston – CHECK HIS INJURY STATUS
Bradley took a tough fall during the season opener and may or may not play in this one. I’m betting he’ll be good to go. He is very athletic and is one of the best options on the weak Celtics team. For $3,500 on this site….. that’s dirt cheap if he plays well.
Gary Neal – Milwaukee at Boston
Will probably get some additional minuets with injuries to Brandon Knight and Luke Ridnour. He’s only $3,000 on Draft Kings.
Xavier Henry – Spurs @ Lakers
This guy will be inconsistent because his jump shot is questionable. He is still really cheap and is worth a look because he will get some minuets off the bench for the Lakers. $3,000 on Draft Kings ($50,000 salary cap) and a very affordable $5,000 on Draft Day ($100,000 salary cap)
DeMarre Carroll – Toronto @ Atlanta
Is a very active body player who can do a little bit of everything. Had a decent 1st game vs. Dallas, and because of his hustle and energy I think he’ll continue to get plenty of opportunities in Atlanta. $4,000 on Draft Kings
Miles Plumlee – Utah @ Phoenix
Had a breakout 1st game where he flashed athleticism and touch around the basket. Gotta think about rolling with him at only $8,900 on FanThrowdown ($100,000 salary cap). Plumlee can even be found for a better value on other sites.
Brandon Bass – Milwaukee at Boston
Is a decent spot up shooter and can get hot like he did on night one. Super cheap $3,000 on Draft Kings if you need to save some money.
Spencer Hawes – Philadelphia @ Washington
Not exactly cheap or a sleeper for $6,100 on Draft Kings but he is a good source of points and rebounds. Washington got lit up by the three good bigs in Detroit, so look for Philly to try and get some points from Hawes and Thad Young in this game.
