Gobble Gobble – last night was amazing for me, I was a perfect 6-0 on Victiv mainly due to Chris Bosh, D-Cousins, Josh Smith, Ramon Sessions and others who performed as expected.
G – RAMON SESSIONS
Looks to be a solid play again, as Darren Collison and Rudy Gay are ruled out.
G – JR SMITH
Risky, but with Carmelo Anthony out – someone is going to have to put up some shots and JR has a history of it when Melo is out. Also, basically the entire NY Knicks roster could be considered tonight. You’re going to have to roll the dice a bit because there are no sure bets, but Jose Calderon, Iman Shumpert, and Amare Stoudemire are all viable plays.
G – ZACH LAVINE
If Mo Williams is ruled out, Lavine could jump back into the starting lineup and have plenty of run due to injuries.
G – D.J. AUGUSTINE
Wasn’t as good as I thought he might be against a weak team last night, but if Brandon Jennings is out again – he gets another shot at 35+ minuets.
F – THAD YOUNG
I have him in a season long league that has max-games so I probably will sit him for now, but the Timberwolves are strapped for players/scoring. We hope Thad is feeling better after the passing of his mom, and it’s possible he’s inspired to perform. Either way, I wouldn’t spend too much on him, but he’s an upside guy at these values.
F – KRIS HUMPHRIES
KRISSY!! He’s starting in place of Nene, I wouldn’t over stretch his value, but he’s worth it if he’s below average salary.
C – GORGUI DIENG
If his price is still fairly low, he has great value – especially in this matchup against a very weak frontline the Bucks send out.
C – IAN MAHINMI
A really low end center if you need one, who should get you some production with Roy Hibbert out again. You can target other Pacers as well – just keep in mind the matchup against the Spurs on the road isn’t ideal unless Pop sits the stars.
Orlando Magic –
Victor Oladipo and Nikola Vucevic are solid if Tobias Harris and Evan Fournier are out again. You’re biggest risk with dipo and vuc are the Warriors blow them out and they don’t play the 4th. If those two are out, in the Sleeper category – Kyle O’Quinn could get a boost, although he’s a GTD as well – and is coming off an injury so likely his minuets will be limited. Keep an eye on him in later weeks however.
D. Motiejunas and K. Papanikolaou are taking turns being the solid sleeper, although both are producing on nearly a nightly basis. You could take the safe route and play James Harden – who’s been a lock without Howard in the lineup. Roll the dice or flip a coin on the two guys with hard to pronouce last names.
