Games start at 1.05pm ET, and too be honest there’s not many standout players for today. I’ll have mlb TV on all day and check line ups but my nose will be in biographies of Ted Williams and a few other players.

Here’s one of my many low cost entries for today.

P Gio Gonzalez (WSH) $8,600

In his last start he faced the Phillies and went 7 innings, with 5 strike outs and giving up only 1 earned run, I’d expect similar against Atlanta.

P David Price (BOS) $11,600

Price has been hot his past 7 starts, So far in September he has tossed 22 innings and only allowed 6 earned runs, with only 3 walks & 12 hits allowed. He’s also struck out 24 batters in that time and picked up the W every time.

C Tucker Barnhart (CIN) $3,200

Barnhart will probably only play in 1 of the games today which is a double header, I’ll be ready to change him & don’t expect much.

1B Chris Davis (BAL) $5,000

Facing the Rays starter Andriese is 3/7 with 2 home runs, his season average is .222 which normally would put me off playing at $5,000 but he does have 38 home runs.

2B Adam Frazier (PIT) $3,200

Frazier is batting .400 over the past 15 days, and .337 for the season.

3B Evan Longoria (TB) $4,000

Longoria is 17/60 with 7 homers against Tillman, over the past 7 days he has 3 home runs.

SS Danny Espinosa (WSH) $2,800

Espinosa is a switch hitter facing a right hander, no special numbers but good chance at points given his low salary.

OF Andrew Benintendi (BOS) $3,100

Back from injury and should get the start facing a right hander, he’s 23/71 in his short career so far.

OF Mike Trout (DET) $4,900

Trout is the biggest name in baseball, he’s not the hottest or best in 2016 but he’s always a good chance at double digit points.

OF Justin Upton (DET) $3,600

Facing Carrasco Upton is 2/9 with 1 home run, over the past 15 days Justin has 6 home runs.

Hopefully this team will get 50 points from pitching and have 4 home runs whilst everybody else at least contributes to the total. A realistic target would be around 130 points.
