MLB PICKS : SEPTEMBER 5TH

Salazar & Teheran turned in real good performances, And Justin Upton returned owners with 23 points. Add to that I replaced Pollock with Chris Owings who had 19 points.

Sadly Hanley Ramirez & JJ Hardy didn’t score anything, but on the day I turned a profit.

My team today will be,

P Kenta Meada (LAD) $9,000

Maeda hasn’t gone a full 7 innings since July 10th; however two of those starts were in Colorado. He’s averaging a strikeout every inning so there’s a chance at big numbers.

P Adam Wainwright (STL) $7,400

He struck out 7 in seven innings only allowing 1 earned run on 3 hits his last start which came in Milwaukee.

C Jonathan Lucroy (TEX) $3,900

Over the past 7 days Lucroy has gone 8 for 14.

1B Edwin Encarnacion (TOR) $4,100

Facing Tanaka he is 8/19 with a home run, he has the best numbers of any Blue Jay against the Yankee starter.

2B Logan Forsythe (TB) $4,000

Forsythe is 9/18 over the past week, his season average is .283.

3B Adrian Beltre (TEX) $4,000

In the past week Beltre has gone 9 for 23 with 3 homers.

SS Francisco Lindor (CLE) $4,700

Lindor has gone this past week 14/26 with 3 doubles.

OF Coco Crisp (CLE) $3,600

Against Fiers is 3/7 with a home run.

OF Carlos Gonzalez (COL) $4,900

Hitting an even .300 for the season, and at home it’s .340, 17 of his 24 homers have also been in Coors Field.

OF Adam Jones (BAL) $4,300

Against Andriese is 3/5 and is hitting .280 for the season.

Remaining Budget: $100

I really hope that this team today can have 5 home runs & 2 really good totals from the pitching. I’d figure 125-130 points would place in most contests and my team on paper would achieve that amount most of the time.
