My first tip this morning would be to pre-register for any larger NBA GPP you want to play in since the increased traffic the NFL brings to the lobby tends to fill them up a bit faster than a normal day. Other than that, we’ve got an 8 game all-day slate that begins at 2pm EST. There’s another 6 game slate that begins at 6:00 pm EST. The early games do have some good fantasy projections – so it should be a fun day where you can play both slates.
Here are my NBA daily fantasy basketball cash game picks, target scores, value/sleeper picks and a recap of the previous night so you guys know I actually stand behind what I say here with my own money for Sunday November 29, 2015.
These are the target scores I projecting out to when building NBA lineups today.
Here are my NBA daily fantasy cash game targets. As a side note – I normally play cash games on Yahoo so I tend to list more of those players as the day moves along.
Draftkings: D. Russell or Clarkson, Brook Lopez, Covington, Kristaps or Thad Young
Fanduel: Kristaps or Thad Young, Bismack, Covington
Yahoo: D. Russell, Covington,
Here are some sleepers. I try to adjust this list as the day moves along.G – Isaiah Canaan
G – Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
F – Andrew Nicholson
F – Jerami Grant
C – Clint Capela
C – Bismack Biyombo
11/28 Recap: When Cousins was officially ruled out for the Warriors game – that made Draymond Green a 100% lineup play. Most grinders (and ‘experts’) look to Gay, Rondo, Casspi when Cousins sits –it’s the opposing teams players that will often benefit more. Remember – when a guy like Cousins is ruled out – focus on the opposing teams players that get a boost because they are now facing backups when they have the ball.
I finally was able to fill out a lineup I liked on Draftkings and was rewarded with 2 above average cashes on that site. Fanduel I bricked for the most part, except was able to get lucky in 1 lineup to eek out a $2 profit there. Yahoo I swept my cash games as a balanced lineup got the job done & D’Angelo Russell came through as expected.
It felt like I could fill out a ton of lineups on DK but only got 2 in. Ish Smith, McCollum, Leonard, Love, Biyombo, Green & Dudley were all in line with what I thought they could do. Burks was a (somewhat) lucky hit because I thought maybe Trey Burke might be out – turns out Derrick Favors was out! Plus the game got out of hand like I thought – which would lead to Burks getting more minuets down the stretch than usual since Burke likely wasn’t going to play late in a blowout.
My second tournament lineup was actually a tad bit more balanced with all guys (outside LeBron) that I thought would see a ton of minuets. DeRozen was a let-down, but otherwise this was a pretty well thought out lineup.
What could have been. I don’t even want to go look who I could have started over Belinelli. Probably Hollis-Jefferson. Gross.
Here’s probably my best lineup of the day – again on Yahoo. On a night filled with Anthony Davis, Curry, Lebron, Lillard … ect – I fade them all (on purpose) in cash games for a balanced lineup, which is often a good strategy on a medium slate night in cash since you can’t risk your night on 1-2 guys going off. Notice how target scores actually were down on the night since the cash line was only 223.4 in a $5 50/50 … meaning lots of good players bricked.
