The first real light night of action since the league tipped-off with only about 3 games I think. Not really sure I’ll get involved too heavily with these games but you never know. These are my sleeper/value picks, cash game selections for NBA daily fantasy basketball for Thursday November 12, 2015. Personally, I think the strategy on a night like this is trend towards a balanced lineup since there’s a limited number of sleepers/bench guys you will want exposure to. I update this page as the day moves along, so feel free to check back in later.

Target Scores are important on a night like this since there’s only 3 games the score you really need to be shooting for is a bit lower than usual, but not by too much.
Cash Game Players I’m going to target for the night depending on what site I’m playing NBA DFS on.
Draftkings: Heyward ($6,300)
Fanduel: Curry ($10,700), Hayward ($6,600)
Yahoo: Whiteside ($31), Favors ($28)
These are the NBA daily fantasy sleepers/value plays I’d be targeting tonight:
G – Trey Burke
G – Jamal Crawford
G – Austin Rivers
F – Justice Winslow
F – PJ Tucker
F – Nemanja Bjelica
11/11 Recap: I continued my hot streak in cash games last night, pushing my last two day of grinding cash games to 39-1 record. My tournament results have taken a slight hit – but I actually had a good tournament lineup – just came up short in a few spot. I was surprised to see Cousins was only 6% owned in a $250k GPP tournament I was playing on Fanduel …. maybe the narrative was he was going to get benched after he ripped the coach, or was still hurt … but Karl is no dummy, he knows to keep his job at this point he needs to keep Boogie happy. I also heard some negative chatter about Rondo’s 48 min game on Tuesday – and guys complaining he didn’t do much. HE PLAYED 48 MINUETS GUYS!!!! I’ll roster ANY NBA PLAYER WHO PLAYS 48 MINUETS. And on queue Rondo lit it up last night as most NBA players do if given 48 minuets to perform again.
1-4 Tournaments (Fanduel Best Score = 307.1)
1-1 Tournaments (Yahoo)
24-1 Cash Games (Yahoo)
Here was my winning lineup on Yahoo. Rondo was automatic since he was likely to play 40++ minuets again. EG was easy too since AD and others were out on New Orleans, leaving them with very few scorers – plus EG has been playing well. Canaan was a guy I would have swapped if the news of him not starting came before lock. Either way, on Yahoo being only $13 – I knew he could reach value pretty easily even coming off the bench. Turner was easy since he’s been playing well and Boston had injuries. Cousins was pretty obvious play too since I knew the coach wasn’t going to ice him. Grant & Okafor were easy starts with the 76ers injuries. Drummond was a let-down but he has such a high floor that I don’t mind using at Center in all my cash games.
Overall, it was a pretty stress-free night because most of my players rated to play heavy minuets due to injuries. This is a strategy to keep looking at moving forward. I did see some winning lineups on Fanduel that seemed to take another approach – starting players on the teams facing the teams with injures. For example last night you could have started people from Atlanta, Golden State, Toronto … ect. Either way, when NBA players rate to get more minuets – or rate to get guarded by 2nd tier talent … you can take advantage of that in DFS, that’s why the scores were so high last night.
