Week 4 Daily Fantasy College Football RB Picks

Some easy matchups this week for some of NCAA’s top running backs where they could explode for 3 quarters and then sit out the 4th because of a lopsided game. Some of these backs have injuries and others split carries. Be sure to get the right running back for your week 4 daily college fantasy leagues!

NOTE: Salaries are from Draft Kings Daily Fantasy Site.

Bishop Sankey – Washington– $9,750
Idaho State Bengals at Washington Huskies
VEGAS LINE: Washington -53
This guy is an absolute stud. Very shifty, all-around running back. Idaho has no hopes of stopping him.

Duke Johnson – Miami – $9,250
Savannah State Tigers at Miami Hurricanes
VEGAS LINE: Miami -55
I like starting this guy because when Miami gets close to the goaline the fans start to yell “Duuuuuuuuuke”. The coach probably doesn’t want to let down the fans. Look for Duke to get 1 or 2 TD’s at least in this super easy game against Savannah State. Duke probably won’t play the whole game, but he probably gets a guaranteed TD, at least.

Lache Seastrunk – Baylor – $8,250
Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at Baylor Bears
VEGAS LINE: Baylor -27
A big price difference between Seastrunk and the top two running backs, but he could put up similar production in fantasy leagues. This guy is a stud and has had big games in weeks 1 & 2.

Todd Gurley – Georgia – $8,000
North Texas Mean Green at Georgia Bulldogs
VEGAS LINE: Georgia -32
Not a bad #1 option this week as the big man will be ready to roll against a really bad North Texas defense. Gurley could easily put up a few TD’s in what should be a stat padding game.

Jordan Hall – Ohio State – $7,750
Florida A&M Rattlers at Ohio State Buckeyes
VEGAS LINE: Ohio State -57
Hall has been scoring TD’s just about every game and should get 1 or 2 in this game. Ohio State has some depth at RB, and look for Hall to maybe only get limited work unless Florida A&M can somehow keep the game close.

Ameer Abdullah – Nebraska – $7,500
South Dakota State Jackrabbits at Nebraska Cornhuskers
VEGAS LINE: Nebraska -24.5
Struggled a little bit vs. UCLA and only has 2 scores through 3 weeks, getting both those TD’s in week 2. Should be a somewhat easy game for Abdullah, but he is risky since he really has only had one good game so far.

Jamaal Williams – BYU – $7,250
Utah Utes at BYU Cougars
VEGAS LINE: BYU -7
The only negative thing about Jamaal is that he has yet to find the end zone this year. He should get 25-30 carries in this one, and BYU could light up a bad Utah defense.

Paul James – Rutgers – $7,250
Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Rutgers
VEGAS LINE: ——
Leads the nation in rushing yards and has been one of my sleeper RB’s the last few weeks because of his $2,500 Draft Kings price.  The price has shot up in week 4 on draft kings and he no longer is a sleeper.  Arkansas has the #6 ranked total defense after 3 weeks which could pose some problems for James.

Marion Grice – Arizona State – $7,250
Arizona State Sun Devils at Stanford Cardinal
VEGAS LINE: Stanford -8
Got off for 4 rushing TD’s in week 3. Stanford has a nice defense so I doubt he gets 4 TD’s in this game. Is a threat to catch 4-5 passes in this game which helps in the PPR scoring.

Venric Mark – Northwestern – $7,000 – Check Injury Status!
Maine Black Bears at Northwestern Wildcats
VEGAS LINE: Northwestern -33.5
Has missed the last two games due to injury. Be sure to check his status before starting him in week 4.  In addition, backup RB Treyvon Green has been very good in the games Mark has missed. Look for both to split carries if Mark plays in week 4.

Karlos Williams – Florida State – $7,000
Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at Florida State Seminoles
VEGAS LINE: Florida State -39
This is a very interesting option at running back for daily leagues. The converted running back started his first game last week at his new position and had 8 carries for 110 yards and a TD. He will get some looks against a soft Behune-Cookman team, but may only get about 10-15 touches.

Storm Woods – Oregon State – $6,750 Do Not Play HURT!
Oregon State Beavers at San Diego State Aztecs
VEGAS LINE: Oregon State -11.5

Jordon James – UCLA – $6,750
New Mexico State Aggies at UCLA Bruins
VEGAS LINE: UCLA -42
Was one of my sleeper picks from last week because of his $2,500 price tag. Much bigger price for James this week. He’s been steady, getting over 20 carries and 100+ yards in his first two games. Should be an easy win for UCLA this week and James will probably get around 100 yards and 1 TD.

Melvin Gordon – Wisconsin – $6,750
Purdue Boilermakers at Wisconsin Badgers
VEGAS LINE: Wisconsin -24
This guy is straight up explosive and averages over 10 yards per carry. He does split time a little bit in Wisconsin, but this guy is worth starting in any daily league.

Charles Sims – West Virginia – $6,500
West Virginia Mountaineers at Maryland Terrapins
VEGAS LINE: Maryland -5
Sims faces a tough Maryland defense and could be somewhat limited. West Virginia might start a redshirt freshman, who is solid, so there could be upside getting Sims in your lineup.

Tyler Gaffney – Stanford – $6,500
Arizona State Sun Devils at Stanford Cardinal
VEGAS LINE: Stanford -8
I’ve seen this guy play baseball a lot and he is a very athletic guy. He returned to Stanford this year after a year in minor league baseball. He’s had two very solid games and might be in store for another one.  Arizona State has a decent defense, but look for Gaffney to put up some good stats.

T.J. Yeldon – Alabama – $6,500
Colorado State Rams at Alabama Crimson Tide
VEGAS LINE: Alabama -39.5
Coming off a big game against Texas A&M, look for the number of touches to be somewhat toned down for Yeldon. He should score a TD and get over 100 yards though against an easy Colorodo State team.

Treyvon Green– Northwestern – $6,250 – Check Venric Mark Injury Status
Maine Black Bears at Northwestern Wildcats
VEGAS LINE: Northwestern -33.5
This guy has filled in great for injured RB Venric Mark. If Mark misses another game, then Green is a great start in daily fantasy leagues. If Mark plays, look for Green’s workload to be hampered, but it is an easy game, so he could still find the endzone.

James Sims – Kansas – $6,250
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Kansas Jayhawks
VEGAS LINE: Kansas -10.5
Louisiana Tech has a bad defense and this could be ripe pickings for Sims. He has had a steady workload the first two weeks. Look for 20 carries 100 yards and hopefully 2 TD’s.

Kenneth Farrow – Houston – $6,000 Check Injury Status!
Houston Cougars at Rice Owls
VEGAS LINE: Houston -2.5
Farrow got hurt in week 3, so be sure to make sure he is playing before you start him.

Kevin Parks – Virginia – $6,000
VMI Keydets at Virginia Cavaliers
VEGAS LINE: Virginia -40.5
This should be a real easy game for Virginia and Parks could get rolling in the first half. He’s only averaging 3.2 yards per carry this year, so if he doesn’t get it going this week, then that doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season.

Mark Weisman – Iowa – $5,750
Western Michigan Broncos at Iowa Hawkeyes
VEGAS LINE: Iowa -17
Weisman is a bruising, workhorse running back, whose only fault is only scoring 2 total TD’s during the first two weeks of the season. He’ll get plenty of work in this game and makes for a great, mid priced RB pick in daily fantasy.

Isaac Bennett – Pittsburgh – $5,750
Pittsburgh Panthers at Duke Blue Devils
VEGAS LINE: Pittsburgh -4
Had a nice game against an easy New Mexico, but backup James Conner also had over 100 yards and 2 TD’s. There might be a little bit of a split carry situation in Pittsburgh that is slightly edged by Bennett.

James White – Wisconsin – $5,500
Purdue Boilermakers at Wisconsin Badgers
VEGAS LINE: Wisconsin -24
Splits time with Melvin Gordon. This should be a somewhat easy game for Wisconsin so look for White to get back on track after a tough week 3 performance.

Ben Malena – Texas A&M – $5,500
SMU Mustangs at Texas A&M Aggies
VEGAS LINE: Texas A&M -28.5
Doesn’t get to touch the ball a whole lot because of Manziel but has scored a TD each of the first 3 weeks of the season.
